Yep... There ya have it folks... I love it when a plan comes together. I love it even more when no one has to be put in harms way to accomplish this plan! Demolition is difficult, dirty, dangerous work. It is also necessary work. How best to keep workers safe in a demolition environment...

Yeah what part did the risk assessment mention a hydraulic failure on the robot.. boom drop , hooked under the deck and simultaneously deck dropping like in the video.. taking the crane down with it…?

The crane itself could also be driven remotely - it would get all humans away from the danger zone.

Bromsgrove 3 days ago .. it was an artic ... guess he drifted into the barrier, or had a blow out and met the concrete bridge protectors .. no idea on the driver ... it's some carnage

Hope he survived… I saw the photos from the Bentley crash on the A50 the otherday where the 2 guys unfortunately didn’t survive.. what a mess!

Completely Flattened the Armco on the approach to the bridge, you don’t do that at 70mph.. a comment I read was from someone he overtook earlier up the road, was tanking it past them apparently!

can't decide whether he was a foreigner or not ? .... tri-axle trailer with a 4th lift axle up front ... don't see too many of them about on UK plates :rolleyes:
I'd guess that the cab departed company with the unit, as the concrete barrier ripped the motor out and would explain why it's the other side of the carnage
