How f****ng much to search a single location for BT infastructure!
Saw that. What a joke .

In fact I just logged into LSBUD out of interest and ran a search on a site I'll be looking after shortly and it's foc for pretty much every utility apart from openreach and water! Pisstake.

I've used LSBUD for pretty much every site I've had anything to do with. Ruddy handy having a map of leccy and cable/duct sizes etc.

pretty similar to that big lathe posted a few months ago ... the war efforts in all countries produced some big machine tools

don't think BT/openreach have any idea where a lot of their stuff is TBH.
had them out here several years ago to tell me where their undergrounds were ....
hit them 30 ft and the other side of the drive to where they told me they were running  and about 4" below the surface
was the third cable I found in about 20 odd feet, putting in a land drain .. first two didn't seem to be live/do anything .. no one complained anyway

had to find the joints again in '20 to make sure they weren't an issue when we had a line fault ... had pix of where they were fortunately - engineer was impressed I could go straight to them :giggle:

TBF to think this country for the last 50 years has run on pairs of crappy bits of copper slung on poles or buried an inch below the tarmac is remarkable 🫣

we have 2 houses here on starlink ,would never even consider the arseholes at bt again
Tried it and failed here. Could not cope with wife’s VPN for work and was a pain on banking and found buffering awful for tv.
Fortunately with now have Gigaclear fibre direct to the house.
At 400megs it is slightly better than the 1.5 we used to get from BT.
