Fkn hell the picture posting has improved.

As most know Tim was a very good friend and taught me most of what I know. Whilst I don't have any issues with the old forum being lost to time following it's abandonment there is something about salvaging the pictures at least for tomorrow, I feel it'd be a great shame if all of them where lost to history.

I'm slowly saving what I can, sadly the knowledge is lost but at least the pictures are interesting. I know a bit about some, but not a lot about others.

Full Credit to Tim R. Cheers mate and I hope you approve, but I can't bear the thought of it being lost in the ether.

Well done for taking the effort to post these pics Rory(y)
Tim would be proud, although there’s probably one or two in there that he’d rather we forgot :p

I like the Scammel S26 at the top, they were a great truck for low loader work:cool:

Love all the old Tim pics Rory glad you doing to keep Tim's knowledge and skills going. My biggest regret was that i could never take him up on his offer of work due to family illness and you might as well say a act of god with my home flooding.

Often see that car hung from the liebherr scrap handler as it t red lodge a few miles from me on the A11 route to london

Nice one Rory, hope you don’t mind me throwing on a couple of my own from my short time spent there in 2012/2013. Great memories for the most part, and something that I will always be happy to have taken the opportunity that was so willingly given. A great bloke, who’s sadly missed.

The photo of the two trucks in the yard is just before me and Leo drove the fkn things to Dunsfold, the 360' with the chain on is I believe from the day I came off the stockpile with a Bang and killed the backup seal.... surprisingly not a beatable offence.

Do you remember the day I was taking the piss out of you and the airconless dumper, slammed the front window down after lunch and put a fkn great crack in the screen. :ROFLMAO:

Think you’re right about the two trucks, was an interesting drive down especially through guildford 😂 the picture of the 360 was a different day, was near the end I was there for a couple of days with Stuart cleaning up chain was on as I’d just pulled the big bastard of a crusher out of its resting place to be moved off site.

I do remember that 😂 that was poetic justice at its best. My personal favorite was when John at Sipson asked me to track over the spray paint to get rid of it and when I got out found John literally covered from head to toe in yellow paint as he walked up to the machine as I was going over the cans, can still see Pete hanging out the window of the dumper singing I think I’m turning Japanese at him 😂😂

That little bray lake has changed since you’ve see it last, it’s half full of silt from bray plant now.
JD450a What happened to Tim’s old 210 Komatsu with the blue counterweight. It was parked round at sheephouse farm for a year then a couple of months ago it moved, did it end up down the auction with the rest of the stuff

Well done Rory, respect. Tim & I discussed the picture issue on a few occasions. He was really frustrated knowing a picture can give so much, if only folk can get to see them. Be that a stuck digger, submerged dozer a ram being repaired or a boom being lengthened.
Its the "thing" that wakens a forum as folk comment and ask questions (y)
