how you find the zaxis ? The odd occasion we got a hitachi as a hire dropped off I am allways impressed. They seem to have a little bit more power/lift than the other 5 tonners.

There is a few niggling bits that going though all the different dash's of this model size I would like changed as been with Hitachi for years but on the whole does everything I chuck at it very well some people find the cabs small but was using a 48u Kubota other week older cab to current one and that was more cramped than mine couldn't move my feet around freely even with peddles folded up where's mine not a problem
I rarely have to touch them mechanically and when very busy like now any down time is a right pain so glad they just keep going with no fuss

Digger maintenance day today. Been fixing the crappy blade extensions on the E10.
It's the first time I've had the welder cranked up to the max and I'm not sure if it really is 200A.

Whats the welder? A lot can be down to the electrical supply.

Also- whats the larger tracks belong to? I though you only ran a micro?

Its a £240 Chinese gamble. It welds the thin car bodywork a lot easier than my last one but im not too so sure on the thicker stuff. Its most likley technique but im sure it welds better once the parts warmed up after a inch or two of weld.
I've now got a couple 32a sockets in the shed and i think the supply was a 10mm. I should have done the supply myself but kept putting it off so farmed it out.
I made a start on the stowing bracket and finished the right side.
The other tracks are my tcp dumper.

You'll be lucky if that's half 200 amps mate. Some of the cheapest tat out there, but if you got it cheap and it does what you need then all good.

It got the range rover through the mot and thats what I bought it for. A proper welder and plasma cutter are on my , to buy, list. On a positive note i got a free 100l, 14 cfm compressor the other day from a customers scrap pile, It even has my name on it.

Nothing yet, gonna hire and demo different models and sizes until we see what suits us best and what we like. Thinking about stepping down to a 5.5-6.5 tonner, might suit the work we’ve moved into better. Can hire a 13 tonner for about £300 a week so will probably just hire when we have a bigger job to do.

saw these pedals on a little yamnar 17 on a job tonight .....it was a builders digger, look genuine turf not ASTRO anyhow does anyone know where you can get some generic pedals like this that would go on little u17 kubota, ive only done 100hrs or so on it in last year or so but don't like no pedals on a machine.

Wouldn't be too hard to fabricate a set of pedal I woulnt have thought. I haven't got the pedals on the small Tak- I hate it without them but still haven't got round to making a pair

Here’s my latest Chinese tat. Cuts up to 300mm wide.

No mid range r-tech style option for a large bandsaw- it’s this type or 5k plus. Or get lucky and and old secondhand machine but that’s usually three phase.
