If you have to resort to heat drill out the metal cover pressed in over the ball joint to give somewhere for the gas generated by the grease melting somewhere to go.Never heat a ball joint, we did once trying to get it out f****ng thinking exploded like a 50call bullet with a 1” ball bearing on the end dented concrete floor between me and dad and put a fist size dent in tin sheets on barn wall 30 foot away. Would have killed either of us if it had hit. Keep it in a draw somewhere.
