Glad you got yourself covered. To me that looks like trouble ahead. it looks like the brick wall, it's footing and everything it's retaining is relying on ground that is destabilising!
Plastic piling would have been better but no stock. So needs must.
So come on then, did it survive last nights weather @doobin? I was in the pub looking out at the rain hammering on the window and thinking of you
yes all good. Finished adding base stone today.

What's going to form the sides of the swimming pool? Is it block wall or something. I guess when you take the shuttering away will be the moment of truth!

Those hollow blocks that slot together, with rebar ties down to the slab I think. I'm just groundworks. Then backfill with sand (if loose enough to fill properly- saved a fair few tons. Then pull sheets and poles.

If so, what a joke! That’s criminal IMO.
Yeah place is being re developed,it's the major hub for connecting the new line to London,south west n onwards to hs1,sheds being cut up,lots concrete to process....truck off site

It does feel all wrong ....... won't stop them parading their green credentials by claiming 90% of all "waste" recycled 😡
