Are they solvent weld pipes?

Those inspection chambers look good for filter beds with the 4 out the side
Yeah its all solvent weld over here pretty much, I used to moan and ask suppliers to get fittings with seals, honestly got used to it now and fittings with seals are finally available at our local suppliers but silly money and nobody's using them much.

yes those chambers are decent, rubber seals and a higher inlet by about 4cm.

wouldn't wanna smash yer knee on that little yellow lever's mount :cry:
It’s perspective from the 0.5 zoomed out photo setting. It’s miles away.

I do occasionally bash my knee on the steering column though. And my head on the cab pillars in rough stuff. 🀬

In my mates old compact with cab I reckon a helmet wouldn't have been a bad idea. Was tiny and amount of times I called that cab some nasty names. Considered padding it...
In the end his idea of maintenance...or rather not caught up with him and it self combusted πŸ˜“

I love watching the channel 4 show "help we bought a village"
I would love to do what you have done. My mrs currently un-interested to move three hours north if we are given a building plot and could probably end up mortgage free on a plot 10 times the size, in a more rural setting and closer to both our families. Therefore I think France is out of the question.

yes you've both got to be all in - that "no going back" slogan is a real thing - you dont want to be dragging anyone along ! or the first time the s**t hits the fan which if its not on the boat is usually the first long winter or big tax bill you dont understand... and then it's all your fookin fault πŸ˜‚

do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better
we'd have been there, for at least the last ten years if it hadn't been for my 'problem' rearing its head in 2010 ... had always been our retirement plan

Right now it's all looking more attractive by the day compared to north west UK in the rain and the rest of it...
