To rid the brake warning light on those ivecos, go to your brake reservoir and find the negative size of the low fluid sensor, cut it and earth it to the body.

Make sure you cut the negative side of the fluid sensor, if you don't then it won't illuminate if you loose fluid.

You all have much fun with the rear brakes, you might as well put a set of shoes in too while you've the disc off. They are wank to adjust up. I've had the please a few times.
I’ve only done them once, eight years ago when I bought the truck.

I thought they just self adjust as you pump the brakes?

I’ve wound them back with my homemade tool from 8 years ago.

The handbrake shoes are totally separate to the brake pads on the iveco. C chassis. (S chassis is handbrake combined calipers)

They are a bugger to adjust up, you think you've cracked but a quick run out you've lost handbrake again.

Recently it took 5 goes to get them to pull up on the brake roller.

That's put politely. 🤪

The s chassis are combined and bar a handbrake cable seize on one of my vans they are alot better...not sure why they aren't used on the c chassis.
Is a c chassis the tipper or flatbed type?

Mine is a 35c 2009 model and the handbrake just actuates the rear brake cylinder. No seperate shoes.

No 35c vs 35s.

There is some rare c chassis with in built calipers of that age. So potentially that's one you have???

All s are single wheel in built. But vast 35c are twin wheel with shoes in discs and all the same set up right up to the 70/72c classis. Some alterations on the new chassis but not the age yours are.

Looks like I should keep hold of this rare model then 🤣

That explains why the discs and pads back and front are different to what the motor factors have on their computer.
The backs really are a s**t design on my old 1

Scaffold just claimed first blood….

Poor bastard. He was panicking about whether it was the right place for his drop and whether he could turn around. Went to reverse out on to the main road, almost got hit by another car, then went forward again in a fluster.

Apparently he had to give me the form even though we had no damage bar a gallett coming loose 😂

Had to do something about tool storage. Working on my todd at moment Transit is poorly and need somewhere to store some tools when using the tipper.
The van vault formerly yellow 🙃hasn't been used for probably 8 years, gave it a bit of a rub down with the flap wheel and several coats of Henry Fords favourite colour.
Wasn't the plan for today but sometimes just have to do these things
