Pushing on for kitchen install on the 4th of may

Drawing said 75mm but needed more to make all thresholds and levels work so got some 25mm as well
More insulation the better
I do try to stick layers together with the foam gun and do the joints and edges

Damn that's when I miss my dad😥 old school chippy. Could hang a door in his sleep. Chisel...none of this routing out hinges.😂
I used both tbf, if you can make life easier do it.
Plus didn't have the guide bush for the hinge jig 😆
It was actually nice to do a bit of finish work for a change, pre finished doors are great but also a pain.
At least my chisels are sharp again

Neighbour started the bbq about 12.30, smelt bloody lovely 😫🤣
Going to be a lot of muck shifted out of here this week- already adding the micro digger to the hire from tomorrow to keep the pile tidy👍

Digging holes for what will hopefully be my house soakaway..... Niggles me somewhat paying for a drainage design..... but will be cheap if it accelerates and reduces aggro with planning.
Pits ranged between 20min and 71 minutes..... At 1.5m the engineer specified..... Then I got pissed off and cracked out the BHL, 2.3M deep.... water goes in under 5 minutes.

Good day today, despite an unexpected detour!
Second hand loncin on the dumper wet itself again, badly, wouldn't idle, sounded like a hit and miss and stank of fuel. Bit the bullet, 100 mile round trip and a brand new GX was in position 👍👍
Lots of dirt to shift here, glad it's not my job! I'd have been doing it in a very different order but we're getting stuck in👍
