Giving Charles a hand this afternoon. He is the one that fabricated the Trailer Crane for me back in 2021. Pissed down all morning but they weren't ready for me. Sunny this afternoon while I was there Little Fassi doing its job well. Very tight back yard, so the Tracked Carrier came in handy shunting the 16ft IW and the crane around. My UNIC spider crane would have been even better for this job... but its not mine anymore.
Nice set of stairs. Glad I am not paying for them!

Mine is 2019. They were trading as 'Tracked Carriers' then. Moves crane trailer with load on easy enough. But if you need to move a trailer with a 2.7t on I would take the 2.7t off and use that! Trailer moving around is a bonus, its niche is carrying heavy stuff through narrow gaps with precision movement
Same sort of money as a micro when new....

There is a breakwater and sea pool in Bude that require regular work. Work is completely dictated by the tides .What on earth were they thinking!!!
The only other vehicle access to the beach is a fairly busy car park and deep sandy track with every man and his 3 dogs underfoot. Personally I’d rather be doing it at the harbour end where they are. We had a f**k ton of rain here yesterday morning (I live and work about 20min away) so possibly river levels caught them out. It looks a fair bit deeper than usual. Maybe a conveyor to shoot it over the river might have been the solution for next time !
Also it’s half term and the surf schools are busy …. So summerleaze access wouldn’t be a nice or safe place to be operating plant.

Building control and architect and structural engineers all involved so I assume it’s all kosher.
It’s on a care home so had to be down and up and safe to use all in the one day. All the staff had to ingress and egress through the track that the trailer was sat in, so legs in on that side and constant vigil to escort people though. Right pain !
