That blue collar with the bells and reflective bits is supposed to stop Billy the whiz catching birds. He has transfered some of his efforts to rodents ... a personal best of 3 rats in one day last week 😁
Obviously the green waste will be going over the weighbridge to be transferred by bulker to another facility where they will grind it up with an 800 hp diesel powered tub grinder and I will be happy that I have done the right thing by the environment 😅

we have a guy round here (diversified farmer) who takes all the green waste in the area at 25 quid a load - grinds it up, etc and then resells it to folk as 'mulch' at 25 quid a dumpy  - been doing it for at least a couple of decades, that I can recall and wants for nothing ;) -- all his fields around his place are a good two plus feet higher than they were a few years ago - has to lose the excess somewhere

Glad to get finished last Friday and move on - had a retired customer who came out every morning when he heard the truck arrive and literally watch us all day till he waved us off at night, he was sound tbh but ready for out of there after 6 days.
This is my kind of job, middle of nowhere, holiday home with nobody home, surrounded by farmland and wildlife, 4 cars passed today 🙂 blue sign summs it up nicely.

Injector seals was the hope.. but it’s likely a piston gone according to garage . It’s getting a recon engine fitted next week so a post mortem will be done on the old one before it gets send off.
What's the damage for getting an engine and having it fitted in the tranny?

Anyone had any issues with low voltage during starting on transit, think I read somewhere that if voltage drops below 12 v during winding it over it might cause issues at startup

might not pull the stop solenoid off ??
completely off the left field, but SD1s would not fire if the voltage was below 11.7v on crank - no spark from the leccy ign. pack

I’m expecting it to be about £5000 for a recon engine / new injectors all the labour and full service / MOT whilst it’s in there .. more if it needs a clutch and DMF but they were done about 20k ago so hopefully AOK
