Replaced some perished fuel lines last yr on the tractor and forgot about the ones which go to the radiator.. well blew the rads out today and as I pulled them out I spotted a stream of diesel , so set too replacing all the ones I didn’t do last year 🤦‍♂️ ordered some different hose and the stuff I had wouldn’t fit over the radiator pipes(11.9mm) other end is 7mm.. checked on John Deere parts and the OEM pipe is tapered , so may have to order the genuine ones. Gave them some heat but they deformed too much when shoved over.

All sorted kinda day, finished off tractor maint, sanded kitchen table back as it had some horrible thick lacquer on it - getting osmo treatment now! Also replaced top roller on digger, otherside completely let go afew months ago so thought best do other side - good job I did as it was ruined too!

Don’t think I’ve ever had to replace top rollers before the tracks?

Finishing off an installation and asked to widen drive - ripper perfect for teasing blockwork out from under old slab and putting in truck.
Thunderstorm ended play so truck got a wash back home while the flies had had a good soaking.
Fruit snapping branches this year !

had similar issues last year - one plum tree split in half down the main trunk, had so much on it ... looks like we'll lose some branches again this year - so much on the plums - like bunches of grapes again

Assume your pic is greengages ours're all well purple, but smaller than usual - probably lack of moisture - very nice though, according to Pam .. I usually grab a few as I mow around the trees, but not mowed since beginning of July .. fortunately it ain't grown much, as I'm not fit to wrestle the Dane about yet.

We used to subcontract to a national outfit who made me buy their branded hi-viz uniforms for the lads. As I purchased them (and therefore own them outright) and they made no offer to buy the kit back at the end of the contract I have absolutely no qualms in wearing their branded gear when undertaking works that may be seen as unpopular in the public’s eyes….

I have an assortment of Hiviz vests - none with my company branding on 😆 Altough soon to change as we enter the realm of ‘being professional at all times’

If it a JCB, this isn’t unusual. Watlings keep plenty in stock for this reason.

Playing in the mud chasing leak

Hoped it would be in the old chamber pipe work but nope it’s on the bit of cast from the valve back to the tank

No room to dig and at full depth on 3 ton and now need to avoid and protect pipe work

Trench sheets going in tomorrow. 5.5 ton coming and 1800mm ring sections once we’ve dug the rest of it out.

Temp tank is working well doing what we do best adapting and over coming problems

3” hilta pump doing well for
