Got manhole back in yesterday, new base and relaid the ring, pulled the run out today and piped up.. 2 meters deep there on this, kept it nicely battered back.
Really am considering a larger machine if what I’ve up my sleeve pulls off over the new few yrs!

Ron the old boy fitter had productive day at yard got mini crane finished and tower on welfare cabin. Need some leds and ir floods and a 4/5g pan tilt camera now for it.

Sodium ballast light no good would need generator on where others should run off big leisure battery and 200w solar on roof

while we messed around with water connections and parapet walls

What is the plan for the tracked dumper crane, for moving bulk bags around?

Early start to get to job 1 hour away before it got busy a very popular spot in the peaks, dovedale carpark and it’s stepping stones.

Levelling area for NT catering vans to sit as they weren’t level before and hard for them making drinks etc

Done for 10.30am

Good setup barriers whackers and grading beam on trailer for this work

We did similar today, the 7t beavertail is great for it. 2t machine on, 150kg derv wacker, bulk bag of ballast, 15 pin kerbs plus all the other bits and bobs.

Place where I get some of the decorative aggregates from have now stopped accepting collections....at first I was annoyed but the deliver rate quoted...well it'd not be worth turning engine over on the grab type of rate...and delivered on time and tipped exactly where I'd told them to...so it ment for a nice easy day.

Been a fair job this - sevices/water treatment/drainage/bit of demo etc, place gets swamped in winter so a fair bit of thought gone into how to alleviate things - with twinwall across field from ditch to chamber terminating in a position to take all poss scenarios topwater wise
not complaining but v hot and dusty
