Lovely people we've been doing this for, cooked breakfast yesterday and made another today as it was cold snowy and wet. Grd gone to s**t literally overnight
Call me miserable but I hate nothing more than going into customers houses to eat..
I always decline a brew after one made me a ‘Indian’ style tea which was boiled milk with a tea bag dipped in it.. and another put a spoonful of salt in rather than sugar! Mustn’t of liked me that much 😂

I agree. I always run self sufficient with coffee in a flask. That way I can drink when I want not waiting for customer to offer only to come out with a substandard brew half an hour later.

Our garden at the minute. But we are at 1450ft. Dunno what the rest of Devon is getting
Here only 8 miles from coast its not too bad,Only 400 foot. but 5 miles inland it is carnage , every road from here to Okehampton is blocked with stuck vehicles, and A30 is closed.

Don't forget we have Dartmoor. That is just over 2000ft ASL at its highest.
Someone told me once that some of the farmhouse/steads on Dartmoor are some of the highest in the country. Because whilst there are much higher peaks up north most of the farms are actually in the valleys as opposed to right on the top as we have here.

Also one of the few places in England where it's possible to get 4 miles as the crow flies from the nearest road.
