Been stripping topsoil the last week or so, had a good 1k ton stacked up on there too! Going to pop afew drains under it tomorrow before it gets 6f2 on it, will just to keep it from puddling in the winter so much!

Tidy job. What sort of drainage are you putting in? Will you teram between soil and hardcore?

Woven membrane (black stuff) under the stone, some of it it’s rock hard other bits afew abit spongy, but hoping 48hrs baking in the sun will help it along!

Just going to put afew runs of waveycoil corrugated pipe down, I’ve a bigger drain behind the machine so will just feed it into that.

Hardstanding for now, going in for another unit on there eventually - it’s already got full commercial usage on the site so may as well make some use of it in the meantime!

Anyone having issue with the bar at top of comments box?

In the bit of the building can’t get the digger in so doing it by hand, bought a genie lift sl18 it’s working great. Cutting the first foot off lowering it down then another cut about 1200 down then pecker the rest with the mighty sb50 on micro

The little tracked scissor lift working out well just need to charge it every night needs some new batteries I reckon

New 48mp camera on iPhone 15 pro won’t upload pics to big lol

Acquired one of these suppression bottles at auction for £5 you charge it with mains pressure then that’s it. Works brilliantly if you have mains to charge it from.

New dewalt s3x toy lol had the makita one for years but older style push in batteries harder to source and with so much dewalt kit makes sense to keep it all yellow

I had issues with that several weeks ago .. reloaded the site a couple of times and it sorted itself .. wasn't getting a lot of the functions when clicking on the icons

Rebooted phone but still same now

Step altered and RC sump pit added to existing raft slab.

In a basement so all by hand. And reinforcement couldn't be cut so that the new bars could lap in.

The only bit I enjoyed was using the new rebar bender.

The pit is to accept a sump pump which will pump away any water ingress behind the delta membrane and into drain channels below FFL.

The existing step didn't have 2m head height clearance.

The place is being converted into flats so all required to meet regs - should have been done when it was built really (can't be more than 20 years old, surprised they got away with it especially as it is heavily built).
