Was nearly a call to @Mogman to lift little dumpy out… thankfully mates big Agri telehandler onto the front of the tractor just about got it out(or see if my potato mans 300hp tractor was in!), I just sat on the concrete spinning with bugger all traction 🤦‍♂️ load before came out no problem, but this one decided to sink to the axles 🥴

Grass barely started growing here. Down in the tropics apparently they're taking a cut of silage already! I reckon our lawn has grown 2 inches this season so far
I'm getting a collector full every 5-6 days off our lawn ... when it's slow it's half that in 10-12 days ... daren't leave it go more than a week ATM, having gotten it down and sorted, need to keep on top of it

That surprises me. Thought you lived quite high up. We are at 1430ft here and always a month behind and loose a month at the end of the season too. Suits me tbh as only cut the grass perhaps 6-8 times throughout the summer

First cut 3 weeks ago here, most are finishing up today, they all have slurry stores overflowing so desperate to get some capacity back into them!

Same here, never seen so many cobbled together pump rigs!!

Back in the day on my dads old farm he used to split the dirty water away from the muck, he’d have self propelled irrigators going around the fields closest to the farm, kept the slurry towers for the good stuff! Farmers are in too much of a hurry these days to bother with anything like that!

you'd get hung here ... WAG is trying to eradicate farmers off the face of the earth in Wales  .. tree a l'orange, pine tagliatelli, oak lasagne, and the sunday roast chestnut'll all be on the menu shortly ...... W⚓s're fiddling figures/statistics to suit today's agenda and will completely re-interpret them tomorrow, for whatever are the buzz words ..... sheeples are totally oblivious of WTF is going on -- 'til their food starts to cost double/treble .. and it'll be waaaaaaaaaay toooooooo late
