Regardless of how dodgy it is that is an impressive box. The last one that size I used defeated a six tonne machine.

Yes the box is impressive alright, lightweight alli ones have been around sometime now, used them under the 2.5tonner when we couldn’t get a bigger machine in.

There’s finally an end in sight with this landscaping. Hopefully be coming tonight, get some stone thrown about the road tomorrow and we will be laughing!

This was done on a job we worked on....not quite the same, but does it get your seal of approval ?Job I've been on the last 8 days. New section of Devon bank with new gateposts and sheep creep. It's just a little unfortunate that having now taken photos the post which the gate shuts on looks like a giant penis

Yeah, lovely job. Did they do the back wall in the last photo too? Cracking bit of stone work. Thing with drystone walling is can only do as good job as the stone available. I look at the Cotswold walling or coursed slate like they get in south devon and it's ultra neat but a completely different beast when working with unyieldy bits of moorland granite, makes it's all the more satisfying if you manage to make a half decent job out of it though

Apart from looks better, it’s far easier on the land, just floats. Can now turn without digging up big sods. Track motors don’t seem under pressure when turning now. The ground here is spongy so not really sure how more stable she is

Thinking when I finally kill the rubber tracks on my 6ton I’ll go to steels, I’m always on the rough so makes sense. Just not sure how they will travel up ally ramps on a frosty morning? or what will be left of the ramps after afew trips up/down them?

Put rubber conveyor belt over them
