Ha ......you seriously underestimate a tiltrotator but I get your point, just be fooked if I can find 500ml cartridges and its by far the best grease system ive used.
Have you tried the Mato/lubeshuttle ones. Thinks mines a Mato gun which will take lubeshuttle cartridges but has and adaptor to take the Fuchs ones. Might be more availability of lubeshuttle ones in France?

Bloody cpc ,I’ve gotta fit 3 in before September, Covid sort of broke the rhythm of one a year.
Has anyone tried doing them online? I don’t know if I could handle it or not,I did a speed awareness course this way and that nearly pushed me over the edge!
I've them all to fit in, as in 9 days it expires🤪🤪

Not that I need it but thinking if I ever do need to drive a wagon from someone else again ect.

That’s going to be an enjoyable 5 days😬.Surely you still need it to drive your own wagon even on your own work?

Hmm surprised the rake didn't work for you. Was that a rake bucket or the more heavy duty clearance take. When I use mine (rake bucket) I do a bit of a slew and re-reach at the same time so the bramble wrap nicely around the tines and it pulls the roots out. once the bulk of it is cleared just grade over the rest to remove any remains detritus. Like anything with a rake though dry ground is your friend.
Tried this ...like you say not the driest field either.

Ah gotcha, pretty much the same as the tacho exemption then..

Sort of.
The tachograph exemptions are more clear cut and easier to argue.... There is overlap, but some things don't. For example a Utilities worker on R&M that drives a lorry occasionally to deliver materials to other gangs wouldn't require a tachograph, but would require a driver CPC..... A Utilities worker on New Projects who had a lorry with tools and equipment for his days work would need a Tacho but not a CPC.

I Don't have a CPC..... Conscious decision and as with anything it's something you have to be prepared for if taken to court. It becomes contentious when you spend a day on a lorry running stuff into a job (Say a trip for the digger, and return to get dumper, then muck away a load offsite and return with stone) DVSA would argue your lorry driving, but the reality is it's ancillary to your job (Driving the digger).
You need to know salt and be prepared to argue in court your exempt.

Fair play Rory, I think if we were all a little better read so to speak and had the balls to stick to our guns there is a chance we could expose this load of bollocks for what it is and possibly implement some sensible change but I think (myself included) we tend to reluctantly tow the line for fear of greater inconvenience when standing our ground!.
Like I said a day a year with a bunch of blokes I knew in a pub was ok,but 3 days in a classroom !!!

It will be exceedingly interesting how many choose to use the exemption once they make the CPC more arduous.....

traffic commissioners office can also now prevent you from renewing your HGV if they deem you to be disreputable.

Brilliant ! How arduous could it be.If it becomes a ’real’ test annually I believe there will be a mass exodus of good time served drivers who all become Supermarket/ fast food delivery drivers!how the goods get to these end distribution points might become interesting.Countries f***ed ! Yep been dronk for over an hour now!☺️It isSaturday night.
