yeh - was an un-forecast very damp kick off here from about 6 on, 'til half nine

4.20 this morning it was lashing down. How the hell they can forecast climate change when its showing no rain but is actually raining. How many millions are spent on this a year, nice little time filler on TV and radio

Hit a kent cross flow engine hidden in the undergrowth today and it bent the bolt and miss shaped the holder for the tooth on my mulcher that the tooth was at at least 15° to the holders alignment luckily had a spare bolt just need to massage the metal back when back in yard

Grand morning at the yard
Took the safe option considering my lack of kit to make a sufficiently accurate 40mm hole and used a prefabbed headstock instead - pleased with the outcome.
Next is pipes - its either rob the tilt lines and have plenty of flow for the shear together with some rotate or try it through the tilty @Monkeybusiness did you say you heard there was xtra flow (and sufficient) to be had through plumbing up the 2 x aux's up to the tmk300 - dont know how its setup internaly ? have you seen it done ?

Had the detachable gr####r off to try the shear so took the opportunity to try the protection for the connections ....magnetic it seems and very neat.

I was having this exact conversation with Aiden @CPS yesterday bizarrely! It’ll depend upon how your control system works but should theoretically be feasible. I’ll let him explain further as it is all above my pay grade….

basically your flow rate is dependent on the gallery size in the rotary coupling so doubling up on the galleries available will give you greater flow ... presumably you have a set of aux that you can operate simultaneously with the gripper .. therefore 6 galleries in the rotary (including your hitch galleries)
I bought a n other Roemheld a while ago (was 'kin cheap and hens teeth) with 6 galleries, as that would give me an option for second aux or greater flow with two galleries each way, combined ... same diameter, so'll fit, just taller (which I could make work - with a few mod.s )

Bit of work started over the weekend. Clearing bit of ground in woodland, then started the dig on what will be my yard area. Fair old pile now, if anyone’s near farnham and needs some half decent topsoil . Will probably spread a fair bit on garden to try and get rid of some of the dips.

Yep same here...no way you can take a machine off hardstanding unless you daft or a big housebuilder

Pratting about on the project today. Sourced a cheap container last week. £1100 and about 8 miles away. Got it levelled up with the Moffett. Had a nice fire. Finally got around to setting up the hoses on dads tractor to run the tippy dumper trailer. Realised I had messed up and got a male on the hose where I should have had a female. Meant I had to abandon the bulk head fittings. Worked out the drawbar won’t work with the rear weight , so I’m going to reduce the hitch length by 50mm which should sort it. You need the weight as it is very light on back end for loader work. Got it hooked up and tested tipping function. I need to explore the swivel next , but not sure how stable it will be. Does anyone know what dumper this was originally?

The former will have chain drive swivel.

What would normally be a ballache little job to replace a rotten chamber made into a really quick simple job, and the machine never moved from the same spot.
