One of the issues being Rory leant you his camera?
Cat phone falling to bits, it's off for repair so hopefully they can sort the camera too.
Concrete everywhere on this job, started with a concrete roof, then the floor was concrete over concrete then a small bit of backfill before more concrete and to top it off parts of the footings are 2.2m deep

Current job is sitting waiting for scaffolders to turn up and board out (permanent scafold) so I can cut a hedge at a care home. Supposed to be here at 7.30, hadn't left by 8. They've got 30 miles of m25 (as did I) so not going to see them till 9.30 am I....
Probably means what would have been a long but profitable day is going to turn into 2 days, arguments about who pays for the extra time etc etc etc.

Oh and to top it off one of the staff has just had a moan at me because we've had to half close the car park. Something about a parking suspension out the front on the day's we weren't here- nothing to do with me, this is the first day I've bloody been here, and hopefully the last!

Oh well, soon be Christmas 😆 🤣

What man as done, man can do, what never has, maybe
Widened the entrance into my old yard over the 3 days, new fence up on Monday, dug out and ran sub base in yesterday then levelled it all today.. at least 160ton of aggregate in that entrance alone!
@Mogman can get in blindfolded & sideways now!!
Just realised my cones had been pinched since I took that picture and locking up to go home!!!! 🤦‍♂️

Very neat , you must own lots of small items ! Wtf is in them apart from the forementioned :)
Everything!! 🫣

Channelling my inner ‘new build site worker’ today. Sat on the stockpile. Offered to run dumper too but customer likes driving it 🤣

It’s cold so I’ve shut the door. And turned the heater on. I can feel myself sinking in to ‘site worker stupor’… I’m getting out to sweep the edges in but if I had my tilty I wouldn’t even need to do that or adjust my track levels. @CPS - how’s that hitch coming along?

Why aren’t your feet resting on the lower glass in the pic like a proper lazy digger man?…

Correct.

Got a 900kg quadbike winch kicking around. Should handle 200kg alright which is about all it will lift on the mini.
amazed it'll lift that attached to a mini ... the boom must put it on the limit anyway :p:ROFLMAO:

Well they arrived at 9.30 so I was able to get stuck in from 10, away at 2.30 back by 3.30 despite stopping for a hot baguette.
Not a bad earner in the end 👌 😉
