Minus 6 up here today , no snow or wind though and bright and sunny. Outside all day replacing decking . Lovely working day as long as you didn’t stop . It didn’t take long to get cold as soon as you did

Can't beat that. Thermometer in Ranger said -7C on Friday at Tebay, but being a soft Southerner it felt pretty nippy. Luckily no wind.

Just like Concordes last flight into Bristol and most cosmic events ....... happened on schedule but nobody got to see it through the fog

watched 'em blow down the old tobacco warehouses in Bristol docks, decades ago, from a great vantage point .... the cloud of dust that enveloped the city after was epic ... glad I was upwind of it

Haha, no.. firewood. Run out last week so called in the local service station and threw 2 bags in the van.... nearly £6 each. So it was a case of i need to fill the cage is weekend. Should do us over Christmas and well into the new year. Couple of hours cutting and splitting. That said my pile is pretty much gone nowView attachment 54139
Probably should have started earlier, you forget how quickly it gets dark at this time of year.
