Busy old day. Easy micro job in the morning, three mini skips full with an hours wait for the last skip. Then got soaked doing the church grass. Finished off with a spot of tractor fishing at sunset! 🥰

Finally found a few hours here and there to tidy up the mixer I bought last month. Not as much of a bargain as I first thought. Ended up with a new axle (found a new one half price on eBay) and 4 new wheels. Found a nut on the drive axle has been pushing off for years. Got it all well greased up now. The old wheels were seized on like you wouldn’t believe. Tried everything and ended up cutting them back to the axles in pieces and drilling the split pins out.
Just need to replace the pull cord mechanism, wash out the engine bay and give it an oil + filter change then it’s good to go to work. I reckon I’ll be £1000 and a best part of a day in by the time I’ve finished, but should be respectable enough use on customers properties on the odd job, but mostly it will be on the farm for little bits and bobs. New ones are eye watering money now, over £4000+vat, It’s nearly £1000 just for a petrol minimix :-D
