just stopped here TF .. been some bit wet, last couple of days more to come Mon. evening / Tues. morning apparently - another 20mm, so'll be more like double that going on what the last few days have dropped on us here

put these tins on me bench at just after nine yesterday morning, after dropping Clara in school ... this last night's rain ...

this is the bucket that had 3+" from Wed.s night's rain .... now has a good 5-6+" in it

man we have had some rain

Some serious rain, rok performed great though. Sketchy 500m run along 13 corners though with it above the cills and river swapping sides but got through ok

Good test as any that for the job

Roks are ok as long as grille stays dry...swoosh it in there and it's game over as I found out

River at side of my yard was 0.79m this morning and it's currently 3.2m

It's the Cotswold Canal in Stroud, Dudbridge lock.
The drainage comment was tongue in cheek referring to all of those little jobs we do that add pressure downstream .
Yesterday it was doing an admiral job of hastening the water to the Severn. Started raining here start of the school holidays and the ground hasn't dried out since

Even more appreciated when it turns wet how little you have to move around....saves a lot of mess.

Same today out of the avant bucket a little tight tbf but still done.

I get my Mrs on the machine as much as possible, problem with my jobs is everything is a pain and awkward!

Similar ...tried to get her going on it many a time but as you say its rarely a straight forward job.
