Additional rebarI know let’s bury the old cow stalls in the 10” thick c40 concrete, it will really help strengthen it up.. or just annoy the fella who’s digging it up 20yrs later!

It’s 10” thick - hard as it gets concrete.. scrap prices must have been on the floor when they concreted it!

Pilling it all on that side for back fill plus lots of trees in way we had to skirt to the side of, going in shallow but going to cover in sand then pile soil and rock on to give more depth.My first thoughts.. but not for me to commentlooks pretty horrible digging, back ache inducing!
Only being used April - September heritage grazing so should drain out given the huge height difference before the first deep frost
Been a fight for every inch but ripper was way more effective than breaker efficiency wise

Yeah il be after a ripper for the 6t when I get on s40 - certainly useful.

Newbie alert. Joined the forums last week looking for some info (and still haven't decided what machine to buy for my smallholding - but thanks for all the advice) in the meantime we cracked on today making a start on the world's largest garden pond or rather my fishing pool in a low point of an old track I diverted. The local farmer's son is digging this for me on his machine but hoping to have my own in future for the changes I want to make.
We hit a reasonable amount of clay that will be used to line the pool as best we can.
This is just my own personal retirement project creating a home and private nature reserve here in Wales.

It was last year I needed extra muscle clearing 50 years of crap, knocking the ruined building down and cutting the bank back to build my new shed to keep all my 'stuff'.I know a good plant guy near if you need abit of extra muscle on the job
Before and after. We had to track the Doosan down the road as it is too small for many lorries.

Shite parts availability too, so needs must.
Also measured up and ordered some steel tracks for the e27 from Astrak. Didn’t thing the price was terrible at £830 plus vat a side.
