Rising main all tidy’d up and pumping station commissioned doesn’t half shift some water 18/litres second

One of this weeks jobs for me, move this soil pipe back to the wall so I can fit a new bathroom suite without the toilet being 300mm from the wall! Was lucky as managed to rotate one of the existing supersleeve fittings so less fittings required.

Presumably that's done on purpose though not just a cock up ?? I really don't understand why they do it in stables as they never run it out the door just all to the front of the box. Then a puddle in each front corner as I've never seen weep holes fitted.
Is a bit extreme 20mm does the same job without cutting any bricks

I run groover from door gap at angles into the stables so the urine drains out.

The only problem is now they all seem to want liquid applied stable matting. So whatever you do will be undone by the matt people

I did ours at home 18 months ago. No cut bricks and i put a bit of fall on slab and put weep holes in.

If you were going to get really fussy you’d just pour each stable bay individually and cross fall the whole floor through the doorway into dish channels across the threshold.. or don’t have a horse would be the simplest option!

If they are having the expensive mats put in then it doesn't really matter, plus the overpriced bedding. They muck them out so often they wouldn't have chance for it to puddle

Does it split too or just crosscut???

I can't hold a candle to that, but we too have been making timber into little bits of timber. Its been sore miserable here of late, so I moved the mill inside and we (or rather my guy, it's an easy one man job) are processing a lorry load of timber into tree stakes for a local forestry contractor. A nice wet day filler job, and keeping it local rather than importing from Lithuania. Whilst he was doing thus, I got my processor out to do a few free loads of slabwood for local friends- can’t bring myself to just burn it.

You may have seen in the news about the big hotel fire in Midhurst- it's really fked us with the road being closed plus the weather. All our 'dry' work is up the other side of the valley and we can't get there. All the stuff at the bottom of the valley is way too wet (see the trailer full of fencing gear!). PRICKS NEED TO HURRY UP, KNOCK THE BLOODY THING FLAT AND OPEN THE ROAD!!!!
