A welcome bit of racking today

Few questions concerning the truck.

1. Pressures in these Michelins below, is it a maximum or everyday pressure 130psi ?
2. How often/many kms do you truck men grease the steering ? I know usage varies but as rule of thumb ?

I have 110psi in mine for everyday use.

Mine get greased as part of the 6 weekly inspection.

Yes, should be standard fittings

Yeh a few different makes do them now I believe. 450 sounds a good price for that size coloured. Mine is the 2.1 cube size. I think the basic galv finish are about a grand new?

teething 9 month old now wants to be awake so lol

Threw this up today, it ain’t pretty we only had 1 day and no access and we will be rebuilding the stonework on the mine exit somehow in new year. We’d herras’d panelled it originally while approval was sought as it’s a schedule historic monument so approval given do it asap!! keep ppl away from danger area.

Didn’t bother doing box strainers as ground was rock and until we make access not worth it. Didn’t cut post off either as they’ll be coming out in 2 months and at £7 a pop may as well try reuse them

Trusty sds max and 55mm hilti breach bit worked a treat to pilot them before handheld knocker did its thing. Having done 25 years or more of hand fencing with a traditional post banger as in metal pipe with 1” top and 2 handles the petrol one is a treat to use

Right back to Disney plus snd playing with little un

I run 110 front, 120 rear. Tbh you can be anywhere from 80-130, lower pressure more grip but I run loaded almost constantly.

Every couple months.

Kept my eye on them and the gap between when loaded fully and have always stayed the same but will make it part of the regular stuff

Nightmare one yesterday, went to change the locks on a property I’ve just acquired, I’d turned the water off before Xmas at the two stop taps but not in the meter box as it didn’t have a key, so thought it would be fine… came to it and flooding through ceiling in the main house & out of a 22mm pipe in the old parlour and a electric duct in another building (which had a old draining rod rammed in the end as a stop!!) rang united utilitys who said someone will be with you on the 11th of JAN to isolate.. I said fine I’ll dig the road up and cut it off myself, and hey presto someone was out within 4 hours and all switched off! Now I’ll await a horrific water bill no pics as I was soaked!

Not alone, mine was 4am but managed to get back down until 7.15 which was a huge lay in, been up at 5am on the dot for the last 2 months

Severn Trent give a leak allowance for work that required a repair on customers side. If you have only just taken on the property, check the rules for your supplier.
