That's literally my life with this job near uttoxeter, meant to be an agency guy today and according to the agency was just at the petrol station half mile up the road. I get to site and no one there and they are no longer answering calls from the agency. So today I have been shoveling sharp sand, wacking, screening and having to load and lay tegula blocks on my... Again.
This job has been on and off since march that's 3 agency no shows, 3 from indeed and one from grafternow all no shows. Plus 5 starting and not being kept on for various reasons but mostly no show with no call/text or one tool who was banging on about some guy, offering him weed all the way back to collect his kid from a childminder. Who then text at midnight saying he had caught 24 hour sickness from his kid (who was fine all day as at a childminder) and that was literally his first and last day.
This job is nearly finished and I can't wait to see the back of it
Brendan I tried to pm you but your inbox is full.

Still performing O.K your yolk ?
Very pleased indeed, only put just shy of 300 hours on it but very pleased. Tad slow, but powerful and smooth, having swing boom is a great job, currently working for a repeat customer and he can’t get over how much more reach have compared to the ex60, and how versatile it is being able to move the boom

Rang guys who sold it to me and couldn't get hold of them so gave adien a call as he's a dealer for them to see if I could get a part number I could work with to source a new tip down here
Adien let me know how much a new one was 😳🤣
Wasn't having any luck finding them online except an American website so thought I'd have a scratch around but hopes weren't high as the velocity it must have winged off at
Couldn't see it anywhere so gave up and as I was walking back to digger spotted it sitting behind machine on some grass I'd mown down 😊

Now waiting for a tractor mechanic I know to get me a new bolt and head over to me got a while to wait as I'm a good hours drive away from my usual area

The diagram above is refering to the hole. So 16.5mm hole giving clearance for an M16 bolt.

now explain to me what the 1.5 is referring to? ... and a tapped hole for M16 starts out as a 14mm hole before the thread is cut in it ... the pic is of the tooth ... the clearance hole would be in the mount

Yes you're right. Ive gone flail blind trying to sort spares for my various machines recently!

My best guess is that the guys at Flail Direct are so used to specifying flail hole diameters for normal flails (with clearance for a nominal bolt) that they've confused bolt hole clearance with bolt diameter, and then added the pitch (x 1.5)

Could it be M18x1.5 which would be a 16.5 drilled hole?
Or IIRC 3/4" UNC is 16.5 drill size but looks to fine for that.

I measured the bolt with tape measure and it looked 16mm diameter for the bolt and about 1.5mm for the pitch of the bolt
