Done abit more on my own project, doorways opened up, doors moved.. just afew external lintels to replace and I get get the 1st floor putback and get onto some roofing, then crack on the rest of it once the Brikkies have done repairing some of the face bricks.

Bit of landscaping today sorting the big holiday let’s garden, also finally got mains connection and had a weep on 1 metre traced it on 900m run to a bad weld. We think given how hot it’s been didbt let it cool enough before releasing clamp. Luckily we marked all connections across 2000m with lengths of off cut pipe stuck up

Turf or not the prep for seed of turf isn't that much different you still need a layer of decent workable soil on the top imho. Obviously I stress this point when I've some to sell

Yep quite agree wasn't my choice unfortunately up until Wednesday it was going to be topsoil and seed!

How deep does it bury the stones and how small get buried. Take it it's better than just raking off with a fine rake on a digger ?

Up to 6", buries everything under about 20mm.

Stone buriers work great when you are doing turf. But for seeded areas, I find the stones can wash to the surface after rain. The real tool for the job is a power rake - otherwise known as a Harley rake. Windrow your stones, collect them up in the bucket and be in the pub for lunch while the other crew rake an area by hand all day.
Expensive bits of kit but by god do they turn some crap ground into passable, ready for seed.

A seasonal pond I've cleaned out earlier in the week.must have taken at least 300 ton out so a fair job with a 3ton digger and 2 ton dumper.

I haven't wasted time doing a rolls royce job of the batters and grading it cos the field is full of ponies who will be all over it (except the island) as soon as I'm out of there
