I don't think you want to know the cost of them these days lads...... somewhere in forum history I put the prices up when I bought my 1.5t in 2020. If I remember rightly it was around £19k for a Thwaites 3t swivel hydrostatic with lights. JCB's 3t dumper was £16,600 same spec. Rumoured to be around £25k now for the Thwaites! No idea what the JCB's are now but likely 25% more.

Been a dusty going on ..but im not complaining.
Can't remember it being this dry here since maybe 05/06
Liking the new truck ...saving several days over the course of each month ... liking the air suspension and the ability to change its level for heaving skip back up or getting the arse out the heap when you tip.

Think it's the moulding giving that impression as they are fairly recent but will have a look

Make sure to unload and load with the suspension dropped down.
It can damage the bags and the self leveling system changing the weight that quickly.

No, always drop all the air out. If the bags are pressurised and the load comes off quicker than the suspension can compensate it will over extend the bags and damage them. Worst case being a bag will go with skip in the air and cause a roll over.
Also dropping the air out so you are sat on the bump stops will make loading and unloading more stable.

Ok thanks for the advice ..I always load/unload plant with air out anyway but will tip on bump stops and then lift it up to get a smaller heap without having to drive away
