Always best to have client on site I find, then there’s no argument if something is wrong down the lineMe too
Although some numpty builders I dig footing for ain’t got a clue
Then I insist on looking at the plans and get them to agree with my marking out before I dig
Me too no mix ups where it either ends up larger or smaller
Mind you that's ok if there's one of those offset walls by about 50mm in a runExactlyone place we work they do the marking out and they always manage to get there measurements mixed up, walls running 6inches off then they realise they had one end centre dig and the other the wall
Grinder or Stihl saw does the job and quicker

I’ve been admiring that beast on the M6 too! There’s been some great kit on that site at various times.
A lot of kit ...sometimes it looks like they using 20T machine to do a 5T machine job
My mates got the 25t version on hire (not flannelerlys) £650 a week
bet that was heavy .... did a few clad in half round rails for BWW once .... were damned near twice the usual weight
Had similar machine on hire but without blade,handled movax n air hammer on piles no bother
bet it's warm in the 'greenhouse' this morning
Nah just fancied sit in breeze a bit,plenty cool in cab
couldn't have picked a better day....deffo avoid.
