One of the least exciting jobs I've had was babysitting a pump for two weeks.
Every hour or two, I would turn it on and half an hour later I'd turn it off.
It was very important it never got exciting. 200m up the road the sewer had collapsed and I was running the bypass.
A pump / operator failure would have resulted in exactly what you'd imagine.

I think I have mentioned before that I was on a pipeline reinstatement job in the uk and it made me ill quite quickly ......cant beat running about like a blue arsed fly stressed out of your mind

But that Mecalac ... on the auction website it has a list of maintenance done to it in its 5500 hrs and it totals best part of 25k€ (edit 28K plus vat !!) by my reckoning .... 2 x water pump - replacement arm because of a crack etc and the list goes on its no Kubota thats for sure.
Im not sure I would of included this info in the auction

would depend entirely on the rate ..... crane driving can be similar .. can sit for hours - do a bit - sit again .. read or learn to sleep anywhere ... 30 & 45 Grove bonnets were 7' 6" long x 30" wide ... perfect bed if it was dry

Started a new job today, full garden dig out and make over. First job clear all trees and bushes out. Perfect job for the grapple.
Gaining 4m of garden in places by removing bushes. Pity to have to take the proper trees down, just glad there’s no nests in them.
