Todays job was stripping all the old timber off the 7t beavertail.

It was well rotten.
I bought a load of keruing off a chap who had surplus from a vintage lorry project, so at least I didn't have to pay mega money.

Tomorrow may or may not involve putting it back together. Depending on my mood/enthusiasm/weather

yeh - had planned to do a bit this afters, after the 'hamster juice', this morning, but CBA - cold, dismal, dull old day -- mañana

Mostly been putting in fence posts today but had to pop back to the barn to give a plough a quick flying lesson onto a buyers lorry. Digger was far easier to get out than the forklift today

First job back from a good break in the uk ...averaged a relative a day and LOADS of traffic !! so nice clear the head with some cold air, local tracks and nobody
Will have to face the music shortly and do something constructive

Did a few more fence posts this morning then took a leisurely drive up towards Cambridge to pick up this little ifor p6e
Clear and sunny on the way there, lovely sunset and red sky half the way home
Our last 2 p6s have done 10 years each and not needed a lot of work over their lives, but the current one is definitely showing its age.
This one was advertised for £980 and perfect- definitely wasn't so paid £850. £50 will sort the niggles- mud guard, light lense, tailgate clip and a rubber foot for the ramp, lovely job. Will also swap the crap jockey wheel for a prop stand.
Ideal job for an afternoon this time of year

I've a gd64 with cage sides. Handy little thing. Carries 1.1t and you can put it behind most things.

GD84 single axle with ramp and mesh sides. On our second one. Perfect plumbers accessory and light enough to throw around Only carries 960kg though
(440kg weight across weigh bridge with spare wheel and mesh sides and ramp)

Gx126 with mesh sides! Only drawback is lack of being able to side load with a forklift without slinging - which most places won’t allow for obvious reasons! Thankfully most places have teletrucks anyway

In an effort to diagnose warning light / adblue problem i checked there is power to pump when ignition goes on which is the case and wich i think should initiate a prime, but no noise or vibration from pump itself - steers me away from blocked injector nozzle/pipework etc
Im guessing we should hear pump prime if live, i believe ecu could stop trying to prime after sensing faults , but im guessing if it goes live then thats not the case and we should hear it prime only seems to be one feed.

any thoughts ?

Strangely Although adblue consumption seems zero there does seem to be condensation from exhaust when cold which i believed was from adblue injection...

I absolutely loath wire/stock fencing, basically don't do it but I agreed to do a bit of plain wire as a boundary fence as part of a big load of woodland work- lots of sitting on the digger and having a fires
Saw this milwaukee stapler on market place last night for £250 with a battery just round the corner and had to have it My Dads been on the fence (pun intended ) about buying one all year but he can't really justify a new one- he'll probably use this more than i do but that's no problem
I've pretty much given up on second hand power tools, they're either nicked, broken or both, but had a good feeling about this one. Went for a look, nice, genuine couple selling it, works brilliantly
Certainly took a bit of the misery out of the job

Nice tools. Also bloody great for nailing 40mm mesh to 2”x2” timbers for making cages/aviaries etc

It looks like the injector your finger is pointing at, I`m not super familiar with the merc system but there should be a filter in the system, and maybe an air/water separator filter, often get overlooked at service.
As @V8Druid says someone to plug in would be worth it, to point you in the right direction (provided they know their onions), usually any failure, sensor, wiring, out of parameters stops them working.
