Drainage last friday - brilliant application for idig - 4m x12m drainage bed with 1% fall - put onto a sloping area so 30cm of washed stone below invert and building the surround as I went with 30cm above invert ready to retain soil cover.
All done from cab with no need to check manually

... even using the tape measure feature to make sure I have my width correct as I went.

Ok . I can see it is a guided laser leveller of some sort.
how does it work ?
will it give you a fixed point that you can program into it ? I’m wondering this as if it can do this then I think I could use it for setting out the pad underbuildings that I am doing . Be good to get more info

In all seriousness have you monetized it @Gunners ? That chap @Cyberprog linked to a while ago Seemed to put more effort into YouTube than his day job I reckon he was earning a few quid from it.

Well you joke but since gaining 1000 subscribers, its earning around $2/day. I cant imagine what the big guns earn every video with millions of followers and views. Currently I'm getting 20k views a month. People get that and more in an hour.... So you can see how it can become a living. But thats not really why I do it - I just try to give honest feedback on this new kit as I feel the industry press is quite heavily sponsorship led and the reviews you read are like reading the brochure. I'm far from the worlds expert on diggers but its been my passion since forever and I hope I can help some people decide when spending their hard earned on kit.
People do decent independent reviews for cars - diggers are worth more than cars so it stands to reason there is a market for it. When I'm a millionaire off youtube I'll let you know!

I’ve had a quick look so far and I’m delighted to benefit from your video feedback . I for one am well aware of all the hype in our industry about new products and also the attitudes that you definitely need this kit it’ll make you money it’ll pay for itself etc etc but quite often the reality is different and all our circumstances are not the same .
