I'd check your security again if I was you, Bob. Team Viewer is a remote desktop application which allows another computer to take control of yours. I've used it for remote configuration of someone elses PC but it does give you access to pretty much everything on that PC and if you use a browser to store passwords (for websites or banking) then these are accessible too. I have the same level of security on my phone as my laptop - antivirus, firewalls, VPNs etc.
Yes I got an email from facebook friend who run a business in the Ukaine and told me what they use it to let there IT man go into computer to sort out machine all I done was change his password I did not down load the software and I was told both have to have the software installed and I take it that he was going to hack somebodys cumputer and the trail would lead to me but now he will have to get a new a email address to start again

give the bank details to your bank and ask them to verify it .... if it's suss then tell them to block it, whilst you give it to mr Plods 'net fraud dept.

When I add a payee to online banking it cross references the account name I put to the account details they have for the account number and sort code at their end. If they don’t match it red flags and warns you it could be a scam.

Latest communication. I struggle to see how people fall for it . Far to gullable. What’s worse is if you look at what’s on the website they likely have a advert up for every machine on there . They have a video of a walk around of the digger to ,
