Well I know of plenty who have bought new build houses built by bigger companies with mortgages and a lot are bought by first time buyers so I don't know where you're info is from but it can be done

but who's mortgages Gaz ... Know two local bank managers and both have told me the same thing .. they'm frightened of the potential issues ... 's why a lot of these bigger outfits are offering in house mortgage loans ... and gets 'em sold

Don't know Gra but likely someone is somewhere along the line I guess at worst govt will have a hand in it

That's just down to no one offering mortgages until the house is 5-10 years old due the appalling build quality

Places where I go to work have seen huge amounts of abandoned local authority housing demolished, north Liverpool or south of Glasgow. Why they couldn’t have housed homeless there I don’t know. It’s not very nice, but surely better than some place in Africa. If all these people coming here are genuine refuges they would surely be pleased to live there.

North Preston ...depending on which figures you go by its between 5k and 10k built since 2016 utterly insane no new infrastructure apart from roads .The folk that live on the boundarys of these estates have had utter hell last few years .
Council tried to fight a few of latest bigger applications...utter joke...big developers bring out big legal guns and wipe the floor with them most of the time. Flooding is rampant. Some of the tricks are laughable... retrospective applications for extra plots and removal of conditions is in the hundreds obviously designed to swamp the system so they fly through. Kin joke.
And yet mate of mine been trying to get a bungalow approved for 2 years now

but that's all it is, same as the false stories about poppy sellers being banned etc

I still need one as the one I have is standard profile and totally wrong but I thought that we had come to the conclusion yours was the wrong shell size for the 6t ?
