No , just below the max..
Still clean oil from last service 100hrs ago, checked air filters for dust , but all clean , no leaks anywhere on machine it looks and drives solid ..

As I say I v only just noticed it.

Oil is Bobcat approved stuff as I asked them what they put in 10w 30 i believe.

Could it be turbo issue as there is no big puff on start up as though oil could be seeping past the seals over time.
I been using it every day last week so only resting overnight..

that's a very good shout - or it's too thin/fuel contaminated

I put a diesel cleaner in the 3/4 of tank that's left in it.

Maybe ill run it low and get some premium fuel in it , altho I usually use premium in all my plant / 2 strokes etc. So dont know why it would of changed on this tank full.

could be a possibility or could be breathing badly into the inlet tract on the breather system - try isolating breathers into a catch bottle and see what you get ? and if it improves ?

you never know ... we get sold all sorts of sh1t these days

Would if i knew how, I only know the very basics and attempting to dismember a diesel engine gives me nightmares, I managed to change the top end in my 2 stroke enduro bike but that's probs my limit

A leaking injector? Cause black smoke when rpm is high enough that the burn is hot and then on idle down blue smoke due to cooler burn and less fuel injected?

Makes sense, although getting blue at full throttle as per video

Yep thought that was coming, ill check tomorrow, there's no mega whistle sound from engine when revving from memory.

Looks like the 1104 retained the boost diaphragm , for the effort it takes it got to be worth taking the little metal pipe off the inlet manifold and check that it isn't dribbling diesel into it.
A much missed poster on arbtalk told of running low on diesel fuel at a bad time and topping his fuel tank up with unused engine oil .... apparently no noticeable change in performance or smoke !
Diesel being drawn into the intake is not really going to burn any cleaner than lube oil would as it hasn't been finely atomised and timed.

They will do that if the electric lift pump fails cause its not getting a consistant supply of fuel. its very common.

Hi Guys

2008 Bobcat T2566 5800 hrs..

Noticed its blowing quite a bit of black smoke out of exhaust when revving but also when let throttle go there's a bit of blue too.

Held it on half revs for about a minute and once the initial black smoke clears I'm getting intermittent puffs of the blue smoke while revving?

Any ideas where to start?

All sorted guys.
Had a guy remove tank, clean it out, clean out fuel pump , also fuse had blown on pump, Changed fuel lines from tank, new fuel with injector cleaner.
