Autogas is getting hard to find . I use it on the Tin tent for heating and cooking .
37.4 litres, so over a pound a litre ... Autogas was 80p-ish last time I went by the garage down the road that's done it for decades
LPG is (kg for kg) 80% the calorific value of petrol.

Sodding awful weather this weekend so poking around at home and generally annoying the wife.
Over to local social club to say goodbye to a couple of friends who are leaving Devon for Amble in Northumberland . I understand why, but sad to see them go.

Out in shed sorting my drill box out. 3 years of daily use no problem, then Friday one of my drill bit boxes magically wedged itself under the impact wrench and the drawer jammed solid. Took a lot of fiddling to sort it out. More shadow foam required !

10 out of 10. Never walked down there before , although apparently I’ve run past Sampford Spinney church on on the Tavy 7 before- but I didn’t recognise it. Nice churchyard.
What was the Dartmoor inn like? Still haven't been there! Was working doing stuff up at the quarry behind only a week or two back
Wife had a 10oz sirloin and I had the 8oz burger . Full plates with triple cooked chops and salad . Bottled water and a pint and was £59.50. So not cheap, but certainly not out of the way. Most of the beef is Philip Warrens. Really good meal and 100% would go again. Wife reckons best chips she’s ever eaten.

That's not a bad price tbh if it's good quality. Pubs aren't cheap any more but you don't mind paying if it's decent grub.
