There not expensive but there expensive enough in volume 50p each and a stamp and envolope is about it. The stamp is dearer . I remember when they were 26p 1st class

Postage isn’t bad for odd one here and there, but once you start buying a book of 100 2nd class stamps at £66 it starts to add up!
