my 1" Britool set is still in its original case ... but is damned near a two man job to carry about ... got a handle each end

Any reccomendations on a decent socket set? I've got a Halford advanced which is brilliant, apart from one thing, every time I open up the case lots of the bits are loose! It's a real pain in the butt! I see that bacho do some nice kits....

I also have one I cut a bit of flooring underlay that gets sandwiched between lid and keeps them all in place

Aldi 1/4 drive set in plastic box,lasted for years,extending handle half inch drive ratchet machine mart,wide opening jaw adjustables out of tool station,random sockets,still one or two of original Britool spanners set from '84 kept in Stanley bag,had so much gear stolen,lost,'borrowed' just keep basics now

It’s a snap on epiq series . Two of us could stand in a draw if it was tethered to the wall. Each draw is 30 inches deep too. The main body is 84 inches long. Plus the cupboard

the main body I bought years ago for 4 k I think and then added the top and cupboard a year ago for about the same again. There a sound investment to be honest and means the lads take care of what we have .

Absolutely awesome setup...looked at it a few times to sort my mess out...then retired sharply when I priced it ..it's gone up steeply I think you'll find tbf they are investment my cab was secondhand 20 years ago and still worth sane now

I know what you mean. I have upgraded my rolling around sockets into an old plastic ice cream container to try to move up the ladder!!
