Hss used to have a small hire counter in local Markovitz builders merchants, but they seem to have gone.

We had their rep in 3 weeks ago pushing their new app. All very good in theory but in reality it's just not much cop. Three times we have used it they have completely failed on the delivery. Once completely failed on collection and I looked at some plastic roadplates speedy and sunbelt where £365 for the week. Hss app came out at £850 for the week and £14,950 delivery fee.

They had a depot near us but closed it. Said it was uneconomical to run but speedy and brandon have big depot's on the same industrial estate so they must have been to expensive or not doing something right.
Then they said it's ok we can deliver, obviously at a cost. But why would we spend on delivery if we can collect from speedy F.O.C

HSS Hire Group is going online only, relying on Speedy to supply kit for its customers.
