Small tracked barrow recommendations.

A mate is looking to buy a small 500kg tracked barrow - he has to get it down a load of fairly narrow stairs to where it will be used so doesn’t want anything massive. He’s open to new or used, and is considering anything from cheap Chinese to something mainstream.
Does anyone have any suggestions/experience/know of anything for sale etc etc?

Guessing it's not small enough but if it was, Slanetrac 👍Mine has done 12 grabs out and 25+ ton of material in on this job, some up steps and soil ramps.
I also had this little Cormidi last year, not as good as the Slanetrac but a handy second machine. Probably more the size you're talking about. I paid £2300 for it , used obviously, more than worth the money. Sold it a couple of months ago when I was offered a 1 ton wheeled thwaites that I had more use for. Got 2k from it from a machinery dealer who was coming to buy my mates machines, so no effort involved 😆 Basically cost me 300 quid and a service for a years use, well worth it👍

I've got a jcb htd5, it's very noisy, very slow, but it's the most compact I've seen. It's definitely better than a wheel barrow! You need to get one with final drives rather than hydrostatic though.

Would love a slanetrac with the water cooled diesel ..... fast, powerful, and high capacity, but it's big....
