What's the capabilities of these sweepers? Wet mud? Tar plannings? Or are they just for leaves and litter?
Thanks
dirt and dust, etc. ... average sort of thing in road gutters ... not the greatest on much else from what I've seen of 'em and don't get everythingView attachment 31047

the Scarabs're usually VW Golf engine-ed from memoryDon't think they will be anything like the full size ones. They have a single engine for all tasks smaller than the engine on the full size ones dedicated to suction.

Agreed, I wasnt promoting the brand just the concept. The Johnsons did use John Deere engines I think they are JCB now.
The 18t models I think where 250hp on the suction.
Those JCB mounted bucket brushes are awful things in comparison to the bucket brushes fitted to a grain bucket.
And considerably more expensive.
The Sutton type bucket brush used in reverse will get a farm yard immaculate
Yes due to councils all racing to buy electric ones...which must beThanks all for your input. i thought that might be the case.
You see alot of them second hand for not much money

Where all the design team working in isolation from each other, and keen to dismiss ideas for improvement?I did some work experience at Johnsons and I get the impression they are an absolute b****** to work on and I think they are a maze of hydraulic lines from memory
What do you mean by used in reverse? The Sutton type bucket brush used in reverse will get a farm yard immaculate
What do you mean by used in reverse?
Looking for a brush for the yard.
Bucket type sweeper work better when the loader is backing up, rather than sweeping while traveling forwards. What do you mean by used in reverse?

Impressive sight on a dark winter's night when your waiting to leave Germany I can tell uI'm sure the big airports will be selling off their fleet of Overaasen's soon enough now global warming means we don't need them. What the 9m wide plough doesn't get, the 6m brush will and failing that the 300mph blower on the back will sort it!
Back to black in one pass boys, who said anything about collecting the crap - just blow it next door!
