Silt fencing

As much as im aware of it, its something we haven't done before.

Any tips or tricks to make it easier?

Also how much do you think a cople of men would get done in a day?....yes its all a manual job.

No American style erosion control fencing

you essentially bury half a piece of geotextile in the ground and stake it up so any run off the water goes through but the silt soil doesn’t, it’s big state side on every job almost they have skid steer mounted machines that install it etc and it comes cut to height with pockets for stakes ready to go

I have to use it fairly often. Using hand power it all depends on roots and how hard the ground is.

Its soft dig but claggy, I'm just trying to work out what may be achievable in a day by hand.
