This☝️ since furlough .... "work life balance" in other words do sod all and get paid.

Beginning to wonder a big bang would reset things...
Yeah back to 'tugging the forlock' m'lud, working like those poor sods p&O are taking on £1.80 hour?
Seems to me like the guy wanting £280 for 9-3.30 got right idea,if he's any good bet he stays busy, and avoids the penny pinchers who will no doubt argue over...every last penny?

Unfortunately there are a few of these “I’m worth every penny” types who get what they ask for and still take the piss. Be surprised if Bob would have got anywhere near six hours work out of him. Another type that boil my wee are the ones who Think they’re worth a fortune because they keeping old standards of craftsmanship alive, especially so-called “blacksmiths”. I exclude farriers as a subclass as no amount of money would tempt me to put my knackers in the firing line of a carthorse‘s hind boot.

Another one bought to light today.
A new excuse everyday as to why they need to leave early. Usually right before tidying up starts but sometimes extends to before any other unpleasant task

I get that everyone has to get going early sometimes but it's when it's a new excuse nearly everyday.

My mixer is over 30 years old , been welded up as many times! Doesn’t need to get knocked out though 🤦‍♂️
Mine not too bad has a few dents in it but was like that when I picked it up, gets the odd tap every now and again but not battered like some of the rectangle ones you see bouncing around site. Never been welded paddles still all intact

got a Belle and IIRC a Benford that are well past 30 yrs old each .... both pretty tidy with no more 'battle scars' than they came with, in the early '90,s .... makes no sense to beat the crap out of your own kit
