And are the multiones any good?
Not much between them and Avant spec wise, the 8.4SK is a model with the sub 26hp Kubota engine to meet emmissions regs, but still lifts 1.2t, a touch more with the extra side weights. The main reason for the jump in price recently across all small plant is the complex engines by people like Kohler (good luck with parts for that!) to meet emissions regs. Avant may have a similar model in their range, but it's a good cost effective entry point unless you are doing a lot of pushing and shoving on hills

I may even be tempted to step up to the 8.5, it' such a beast. Like the Avant above in spec. Multione tend to be a touch cheaper, I was quoted £35 plus vat for a bare 8.5 recently.

Yeah I had a quote on the 11 series a little bit more capacity than the 860 I think around 40k for canopy plus weights bucket etc.

Looking at it I think the Avant equivalent to keep within emmissions regs on the simple engine is the 735 in Avant terms. Lifts 1.4t just has less aux flow and top speed. Seems an alright compromise to me - not that Ive been looking :censored: No idea what ball park they are in price wise though

I had side and rear weights, extra work lights anti slip valve, 4in1 bucket and set of forks for 45. Only downside I might need a new trailer🤦🏽‍♂️

I used to have some almost square (like 12 x 10 inch) slightly convex plastic mirrors on my old Rapier crane .... were bloody near indestructible (got clouted pretty frequently in use / roading - was over 8ft wide) and were a decent rear view to see WTF was up yer bum, busting a gut to get past :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: ...
think i had them from the local factors ...
crows used to beat seven shades of tish out of them in the yard and never broke one either o_O.... were on there years (y)
