Sanderson teleporter 2

Hi all, bit of advice needed please. I'm looking for a yard machine , just to move a few pallets and bulk bags about, materials left over from jobs, nothing too strenuous. This is not too far from me and affordable for me. I've not been to see it but have been in touch with the seller. He says everything works but the brakes need looking at, they work but won't hold fluid ! Hour meter not working and no attachments with it ! Would I just be buying a money pit ? Is it worth the 4k he's asking ? Tia Bryan

You don’t get much for 4k these days, it doesn’t look like a rust bucket.

Should think it will be fine for ‘nothing too strenuous’

Wonder why all the wheels are on backwards? 4k would get you a moffett newer than that, but 4k ain't a lot.

some people reverse them so that when you get stuck going forwards then put it in reverse you have a chance of more grip and extracting yourself. Don't know how much it actually works

On both my alpine tractor and mini forwarder half the wheels are on one way and half the other. They both spend as much time in reverse drive as conventional.

No I never did buy it, had quite an expensive breakdown with my pickup so funds were needed for that !

No I never did buy it, had quite an expensive breakdown with my pickup so funds were needed for that !

Needed new slave cylinder so gearbox out etc £800. Now in last couple of weeks it's gone into limp mode, dpf is blocked, I've had exhaust off and cleaned filter but now can't get rid of fault codes ! Next option is getting dpf taken out and remapped !
The teleporter is at Morecombe and I believe is not yet sold, it's on facebook marketplace for £3995. Sorry I didn't go to veiw it but when I messaged the guy he said hour clock isn't working and there are no attachments with it , brakes need looking at but everything else works as should ! .
