Sounds like a steal at that it could sit outside as well. 👍

I'm going to keep my eye out for a new motor as the car is going to want changing this year
It’s got to be done ! I’ve got a 3.0 tdi 06 A4 convertible. So I need another convertible like a hole in the head but didn’t stop me taking this home when Mrs P sealed the deal for it

do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better
Yep certainly looking forward to having fun in the workshop 😎
Gave only £450 for the MG TF and it’s MOTed until June 😉
For a cheap fun car which can take kids in the back I recommend a Generation 6 Toyota Celica 😎
SWMBO had one about 10 years ago. Jap import with all the options. Sticky tyres and stainless exhaust upgrade added 🧐
Grandchildren used to say, “Nannies fast car” 🥰
Often fancied an MG RV8 ..... but hell ain't they gone up in price ...... MGB on steroids :giggle:

That is a fantastic classic car and will only go up in value 😉
You are obviously expecting a great summer when we can all get our tops off 🤪

Agree with that 👍
Sharon’s daily driver is a 15 plate Yaris Hybrid. She absolutely loves it 🥰
Think that a hybrid is the way to go at the moment. Not enough charge points to go fully electric. Mind you we may consider a nearly new Outlander PHEV in the near future 😎
Let us know what you decide to buy or short list 😉

I think I read somewhere that Mitsubishi are pulling out of the UK market, and Europe at a later date. Sangyong where it talks to take over the dealers to keep backup for owners but the deal fell through.
If your brave enough to take one one with no dealer support, there could be some bargains to be had  or use that to beat a good deal out of them.

Mitsubishi are no longer introducing new models to the UK market. As @craig says they are pulling out completely in the very near future.

Initially they were also pulling out of Europe but they announced yesterday that they will return to Europe from 2023 with the introduction of 2 new models. However at the moment there are no plans to return to the UK market.

Thanks for the heads up on this(y).
I'll have a word with a buddy of mine who owns the premises where there is a Mitsubishi dealership amongst his vast portfolio
Usually takes me a long time to decide when looking for newish cars. Rarely buy new, usually a year or so old.
Back in 2009, took a long hard look at Mercedes and ended up buying an 11 month old Toyota Avensis - great car 😎

Our current Hybrid - a Toyota Yaris is now just over 5 years old and out of warranty

Apparently the pickups are holding their dollar atm. The old man's been helping his mate look for one to blow the corona dough on and keep him in 20% tax. My old boy bought a 17 plate l200 barbarian beginning last year still only got 24k on and warranty. Reckons he could flog for what he paid. Bloody govt printing money messing everything up

I put off looking for a new ( to me ) pickup as I was really hoping in the new 2021 post apocalyptic world they would be cheap
Now my knackered old pile of junk is worth more than what is was prepared to pay for an upgrade
I've always worked on the principal of bangernomics ( running knackered out piles of junk for as little as humanely possible) and in my mind if they cost 1500 a year Inc purchase and maintenance then I can suffer that, but there are trucks for 5k that don't look to have 2k's worth of work left in them

Looks like I’ll be holding on to my lovely Navara for a while yet then 🤣

I am with you on bangernomics. My old Discovery 1 cost me £1500 8 years ago. It might be battered and bruised from off roading as well as farm duties and towing, but apart from a service kit and an annual couple of hours welding it is still fit for purpose!!
