I have a 900mm digits one for my dx10z it handles it fine, bit of a pain to carry through by hand if dumper not being used in the job, but find the width is good for grading out withThe one in your link is the kind of thing I had in mind.

General Purpose Rake Buckets
Light duty rakes for clearing stone, brush and debris from ground. The General Purpose Rake Bucket suits applications where the robustness of our Land Clearance Rake or Riddle Buckets are not needed. It suits work where a wider sweep is more important than absolute strength and digging power...www.digbits.co.uk
I would prefer 600 wide to make access easier, it's a pain getting in and out of jobs with my grader bucket and that must be 700mm+.
Any recommendations on tine spacing?
Has anyone seen a thumb that pivots on the bucket pin on the end of the dipper? I think I have heard or read somewhere that the thumb follows the bucket better if it pivots on that pin?

buy a 1t endless sling and just hang it .. cheap as chips and easy to sortWhy not weld a loop coming up from the q/h cheeks that a bucket tooth will fit through so it can quickly and easily be carried at 90 degrees to the machine

I've just checked it's 70mm centres and it is a digits one. What is the spacing of the tines on your one?
We can do both types of thumbs, the most common is the bracket on the dipper type. The one in your link is the kind of thing I had in mind.

A Mick George skip? Where are you working, Brendan?I've just checked it's 70mm centres and it is a digits one.
900mm buckets are fine on these my 900mm grader is off a dx19 and not too bad
The one I made for myself I took a punt on 4” specing with 5/8” thick tines. I’ve found that spacing works a treat. We can do both types of thumbs, the most common is the bracket on the dipper type.
For the rake the main spacings would be 50mm or 75mm.. alot of people last year went for 50mm because the dry weather aloud them to rake soil ready for planting.
If its more for a general purpose I'd go with the wider spaces

I don't think I'd want a bucket hanging off a sling on a micro while trying to negotiate a tight gap you might even be struggling to get the arm high enough to keep it off the floor getting a pin welded on at 90°to the headstock might be a option if it's a quick hitch machine or it's a micro bucket just pick it up with one hand and carry itbuy a 1t endless sling and just hang it .. cheap as chips and easy to sort
