Not the case with big commercial properties. Big commercial properties under lease usually require the tenant to take care of maintenance as the rent otherwise would be to high.
yeh repairing lease ..... but this is hardly commercial - more residential :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

It's ridiculous because the radon has been there since it was built in 1814. Theyve known about it for decades- so clearly it was going to rear it's head the moment a prisoner gets radon induced lung cancer. The simplest solution would be to remove the windows from the cells leaving the original 3 iron bars ensuring the correct level of ventilation. Problem solved.

I know that area well :)
my grandad had sun inn at norwood - little post office at fewston and bus company was in mums family - I was friends with lad whos dad had the hopper - lots of pubs :) my dad had a few 🍺
