Road forms

Where can you buy road forms from. We were buying some from south derby. There saying they are coming in on Tuesday and we need them that day. Could do with a plan B.

If you are buying some, and need a backup, then why not hire some to tie you over, or at least find out who’s has them in stock for hire?

Yes we've discussed this. Bit pointless if we're buying some anyway. Just thought they would be in stock somewhere. Haven't searched the nett yet.

We made our own out of thick walled channel irons ,theyve lasted a lot better and taken a lot more stick than road forms

Kin heavy though I imagine! Especially if 8”!

Yep they get heavy at 8"
No pin holes to block with concrete etc easy to keep clean, stack easy aswell.
Doesn't matter to much if you drive over one by mistake either

Tend to do wood, dont do a great deal of shuttering though and when I do tends to be odd sized bays so have to use wood at some point , although the guys who did the pad I done the prep work for did the lot in wood was a good 300m2+
